Create OPC tag on the virtual Blackbox as cycle signal (counter tag)

Before creating the tags as signals on the virtual blackbox, you first need to Connect OPC server and OPC tags in RS Production

Instructions

1. Go to Hardware

2. Go to RS-Blackbox

   

3. Click on Cycle signal connections.

   

4. Click on Create

   

5. A new pop up window will appear.

6. Click on the Connect icon IO-interface input

   

7. Mark the row that you want to use.

   

    

8. Click Save and close

9. Click on the Connect icon for Measure point
   

   

10. Select the measure point that should have the signal

    

11. Now it should look like this.

    

     

12. Click Save and close.

13. Now you have created and connected the OPC tag signal and should be able to measure cycle signals from the OPC connection.
