Set up an article

Create an article

1. Start RS Production.

2. Go to Production and Select Articles.

   

3. Click Create:

   

    

4. A new window will appear

5. Enter Article Number and a Name for the article:

   

6. Click Save.

   

7. Select Planned measure point
   

   

8. Click on Connect:

   

    

9. Select the measure point(s) where you want to run this article by selecting the measurepoint, and clicking on the green arrow to add:

   

10. Click Save and close.

11. Click Save and close again

12. 

13. Now you are finished!

Set article settings

Settings that are required to calculate OEE per article.

• Optimal cycle time

• Longest cycle time

• Units per cycle (can also be set on measure point)

1. Go to settings

2. Go to Amount and speed loos

   

3. Open Article settings

   

4. Click on the filter symbol on each column you want to apply a filter to

   

5. Change the settings (in this example optimal cycle time) then press Save

6. 

   If you want to change the setting on many articles on the same time, click on selected column and fill in the value

7. 

   Press Apply changes and then Save.

8. 

   Press OK to Confirm

9. 

   Now you are finished!
