Quality assurance of data collection

Purpose

This step is to make sure that the machine data input is set up correctly during the delivery.

Check the settings under the menu option hardware, if it is correct connected
Verify amounts to check that the sensor/relay etc. counts correct. Start and stop the machine, and count produced units. Compare to RS Production. Another option is if the machine is counting, compare to RS Production.
Check start and stop; does RS Production say it is a stop when the machine is standing still. If not, is the signal inverted?
Book a follow up meeting with the customer daily or weekly to see that everything is OK with the signals. Make sure the time span covers change overs, shift breaks, order article change.
