Operator tools users are not individual. But with the use of clock in/out of operators they can still leave traces of activities.

Data footprints

What type of footprint will usage of RS Production OEE leave for an Office tools user?

The audit log will save information about changes users made to any data. This is typically settings and configurations of production follow up related things like articles names, optimum cycle times, downtime reason codes, OEE-targets and pre-defined reports for pulse meetings and continuous improvements.  

Also, the user name is saved and displayed with customized production report.

What type of footprint will usage of RS Production ACT leave for an Office tools user?

The audit log will save information about changes users made to any data. This is typically settings and configurations of event based checklists and controls.  

What type of footprint will usage of RS Production OEE leave for an Operator tools user?

If the operator is clocked in on the Operator tools client, timestamps will be stored for “clock in” and “clock out”.

Events and actions while the operator was clocked in can be considered assigned to him/her. That includes start/stop of production runs, registration of scrap, giving downtime reason codes and additional comments.

What type of footprint will usage of RS Production ACT leave for an Operator tools user?

If the operator is clocked in on the Operator tools client, timestamps will be stored for “clock in” and “clock out”.

Events and actions while the operator was clocked in can be considered assigned to him/her. That includes reporting of any digital checklist or control. This is often quality controls, maintenance checklists, change over instructions, first bit controls.

Data handling

How can I anonymize user data in RS Production?

You make a user anonymous by changing his/hers user name, email and phone number to something generic (like “Old – Left the organization”).

After this, the user will be anonymous in all storages and transfers.

How do I compile and export all data related to a user in RS Production?

Under Settings/My Installation/Users, you reach all the direct connected information about a user.
