OEE and TEEP

OEE is a performance indicator for machine and resource efficiency. It is a performance indicator that specifies how efficiently an individual machine resource is used.

OEE with stop reasons is used in bottleneck processes when you need to open up more capacity.

Maximising OEE in individual machines in a flow of sub-processes can have a negative effect on flow efficiency.

OEE does not say anything about the cost of achieving machine efficiency.

In many types of manufacture, OEE has to be supplemented with a performance indicator for both flow efficiency and productivity if it is to provide a complete picture.

RS Production also offers TEEP which is based on all the hours of a 24-hour period for which utilisation is calculated.

In addition to OEE and TEEP, RS Production offers other performance indicators for flow efficiency and productivity.

😀 If A for the period is greater than 100%, A will still be shown as 100%.

😀 In RS Production reports and analyses, you can see the calculation basis by clicking on an OEE bar, selecting Open and then clicking on OEE forms in the object card that opens.
